Lunch comes from home. Outdoor blocks are in the morning, and the afternoon is indoors or at the pool.
In the middle of the day
The hottest part of the day is for sitting down, cooling off and getting in the water.

Campers eat together at long tables in the rec hall, and water bottles are filled again. Pack lunch in a cold pack; we don't share food between campers.

After lunch the cool rec hall is for reading, drawing and resting on blankets. It is the quietest hour of the day, and campers choose what to do.

Each age group goes to the city pool on its own, with a lifeguard on the deck and counselors in the water. A sunscreen break follows.
Every day follows this order, and each week adds its own theme to the morning blocks.
